Spring Fever or Wreath Fever

Spring Fever Or Wreath Fever?  I have sooo many circle thingys around here just waiting to be made into a wreath for some sort of holiday, birthday, celebration or something!  I made a wreath for Spring/Easter and I LOVE the way it turned out.  Don't get me wrong there was lots of mistakes made and I even had to rip off the flowers a few times because I just didn't like the way they looked.

In the end I am happy with the way it turned out!
What do you think?

Jean Skirt Re-fashion

Hi!  I have been SPRING CLEANING around here and I have bags and bags of clothes that I am going to do something with!! I decided to start with a jean skirt that I no longer wanted.

Here is the skirt (the object of my refashion!)

First, I cut it!
Then, gathered it!

Added a yoga waist band from an old t-shirt.
And waaa laaa (that's my magic sound)  a new skirt for my daughter! She loves it!

Thanks for stopping by!

Spring Flower

Ahhhh Spring!!! My favorite time of the year!!
The weather is wonderful and I love the beautiful colors and flowers of Spring!

Soooo on to flowers!! Well, my daughter wears a flower in her hair only EVERYDAY!! So we have lots and lots of hair flowers.  I thought I'd write a little tutorial on how I make mine!

Finished hair flower.

You will need:

Flower
Bling/Button to put in the middle
Clip or Pin
Felt
Glue (I use hot glue)

1.  Take the stem off the flower.
2.  Remove the middle portion. (brown and yellow pictured)

3.  Glue all the layers of the flower together.
4.  Glue on your bling.

5.  Cut two circles (about 1") or whatever fits on the back of your flower.
6.  Glue the first circle to the flower.
7.  Next put the other circle in the clip and glue the two circles together with the top portion of the clip in between.
You are DONE!! Sooo cute!

Hope you find these instruction useful!

St. Patrick's Day

Let's get started!  Since St. Patrick's Day is coming up I did a little framed art.  See below!  (Didn't get the frame, it's not very exciting just flat silver.)  Anywho!!!

I got the idea over at Nifty Thrifty Things.  I liked the wording so I printed it on green paper, cut some flowers and hearts from my cricut that I glued into clover shapes. Added a little silver glitter because a girl likes a little BLING here and there!! Popped it into a silver frame I had around the house...and...presto! Some St. Patty's Day decoration!!

Thanks for visiting!
